1. • Airport Code Database

   • We recently built an Airport Code Database Search page.  You can either search for airport codes by IATA, ICAO, airport name, city name, state/province or country name, or you can browse for airport codes by country name.

     In addition, you can also search for all airports within a certain distance of a given city, and can also find the latitude and longitude data for a given city.

     If you cannot find the airport code that you are looking for, please post here and let us know. We will add them.

2. • Skyscanner's Top 10 Valentine Breaks

   • Do you want to find a city to spend a quiet, romantic weekend in, but don't want to break your budget?  Skyscanner has an interesting new article that describes ten cities "where love is still in the air" and at price that you can afford.

     The cities range from Edinburgh, UK, to Helsinki, Finland.  Here's a small excerpt:

     Edinburgh (UK) – if you’re after a good value break, but still want somewhere very beautiful, Scotland’s capital is the place to whisk your loved one away to. Wrap up warm (a scarf and woolly hat are essential in February) and take to the cobbled streets of this romantic city.
     
     If the weather permits, take a wander up round Arthur’s seat for a bird’s eye view of the city, or stroll along the Water of Leith in Stockbridge, before stopping off in one of the cosy basement pubs that are characteristic of the city.

3. • Search Results Navigation Tips in Firefox (Tab Mode)

   • If you use WiseTravelSearch with Firefox, the search results for each travel sites will be opened in a new tab (this is the default Firefox behaviour).  If you like to prefer using keyboard to mouse, you can  use the following firefox keyboard short cuts for tab navigation:

     Close Tab:        Ctrl + W
     Undo Close Tab:   Ctrl + Shift + T
     Next Tab:         Ctrl + Tab or Ctrl + Up
     Previous Tab:     Ctrl + Shift + Tab  or  Ctrl + Down 
     Select Tab:[1-9]: Ctrl+[1-9] in Windows, Alt+[1-9] in Linux

5. • Cheap Hotels for over 100+ Popular Cities
